Raken alternative for small crews
Raken is field-first construction software for daily reports, time cards and production tracking. If daily reports are not your job, and photos are, it is more than you need.
How the two compare
These tools solve different problems, so compare what you need rather than the length of the feature list.
| Feature | JobProof | Raken |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Free, no card | Basic $23 and Performance $59 per user a month, billed annually |
| Daily reports | No | Yes, this is its main strength |
| Time cards | No. Records when a job started and finished | Yes, on Performance |
| Before and after photos | Yes: ghost overlay, automatic pairs, slider | Photos and videos included |
| Client link | Yes: one link with your logo, a slider, call and review buttons | Not listed on the pricing page |
| Works offline | Yes: photos save on the phone and upload later | Not listed on the pricing page |
Raken details come from its own website, checked 2 November 2026. Prices change, so confirm them there. "Not listed" means we could not find it on that page, not that it is missing from the product.
Which one fits your work
A general contractor who must send daily reports, track production and run safety talks should look at Raken.
A service business paid per job, whose client wants to see the result, should look at JobProof. Three crew on Raken Basic list at $69 a month. On JobProof they are free.
What JobProof does differently
- A crew member sees only their jobs, in big numbered steps, in their own language.
- A job can't be marked complete until an After photo is in.
- The client gets one link with your logo and a before and after slider, with no login.
Questions
Can JobProof replace daily reports?
Not as a formal report. It does give managers a live view of which jobs were started, finished and by whom, and a CSV export for records.
Does JobProof track hours?
No. It records the job start and completion times, which some teams use as a rough guide, but it is not a timesheet.
