Best CompanyCam alternatives in 2026
We make JobProof, so read this knowing that. We have tried to be fair: every price below comes from the vendor's own website, and each tool is listed for the job it does best.
Quick answer
- Free before and after photos, client links and crew jobs: JobProof.
- Stamped, geotagged evidence at a low price: Timemark, from $5 per user a month.
- Free seat-less photo capture: LibreCam.
- Pinning photos to construction plans: SiteCam, or Fieldwire for full project management.
- Construction daily reports: Raken, from $23 per user a month.
- A CRM with photos included: QuoteIQ or Contractor+.
- A map of every site your team visits: Pin Drop.
How to choose
Start with what your client actually asks for. If they want to see the result, you need good before and after photos and an easy way to send them. If an auditor or insurer wants evidence, stamps and locations matter more. If a site manager wants daily paperwork, you need a reporting tool.
Then count the people. Per-seat pricing feels small for one person and adds up quickly for a crew. Work out the cost for your real headcount before you commit.
Finally, test it on a real job with your least patient crew member. The app they will actually use beats the app with the longest feature list.
What we checked
All prices were checked on 2 November 2026 on each vendor's own site. CompanyCam itself starts at $63 a month billed annually. Prices change, so confirm them before you decide.
Questions
What is the best free CompanyCam alternative?
For before and after photos, client links and crew jobs, we think JobProof, though we are biased. LibreCam is also free and focuses on photo capture.
Why is CompanyCam so popular?
It is established, mature and widely used by contractors, with a broad feature set. For many larger teams it is worth the price.
