A Jobber alternative for photo proof, not paperwork

Jobber is field service software for quoting, scheduling, invoicing and payments, and it is well rated by the people who use it. JobProof does none of that office work. It does one part, before and after photo proof from site, for free, so it can sit beside Jobber or replace it only if photos were all you needed.

How the two compare

Jobber is priced by plan and by user. The figures below are from its own pricing page. Annual billing is cheaper on every plan.

Jobber details come from its own page, checked 4 November 2026. Prices change, so confirm them there. "Not listed" means we could not find it on that page, not that it is missing from the product.

What it costs as your crew grows

Core shows a price for one user only, $29 a month billed annually. A crew of five starts on Connect at $149 a month billed annually, or Grow at $229. Beyond the listed team sizes, extra users are $29 a month each.

On JobProof, owners, managers and crew are all free, with fair limits of 500 photos per job and 5,000 per organisation.

Why people look for an alternative

Jobber scores well on Trustpilot, 4.2 out of 5 from 234 reviews when we checked. In the lower-rated reviews we read, the common themes were cost, with one owner calling about $180 a month already expensive, and features they wanted sitting on a higher plan.

For a small crew whose main need is showing clients the finished work, paying for a whole office system can feel like more than the job asks for.

What JobProof does differently

When Jobber is the better choice

If you need to send quotes, book visits, invoice and take payment in one place, choose Jobber. JobProof will not do any of that, and there is no plan for it to.

Many businesses could use both: Jobber for the office, and JobProof on site for the photos. A finished job in JobProof can trigger a webhook, which you can pass on through Zapier or Make.

Using JobProof alongside Jobber

Quote and book the job in Jobber as usual. Create the same job in JobProof, assign it to a crew member and add a location pin. The crew takes the before photos, does the work, and lines up the after photos with the before. The job can only be completed once an After photo is in, and you text the client one link.
