Pool service app with photo proof of every visit
Pool owners are often at work, away, or living somewhere else for part of the year. A photo of clear water and an empty skimmer basket is the simplest way to show them the visit happened.
What to photograph on a pool visit
- The pool on arrival from a fixed spot, so water clarity can be compared between visits.
- Skimmer and pump baskets before emptying, especially after storms or leaf fall.
- Debris and dirt on the pool floor before you vacuum.
- Your test strip or test kit result held next to its colour chart, so the readings are on record.
- The filter pressure gauge, pump, heater and chlorinator, plus anything leaking or noisy.
- Tiles at the waterline, steps and corners, where algae starts.
- The finished pool, with the cover back on if there is one.
Same spot, every visit
Water clarity is hard to judge from one photo but easy from two taken in the same place. Pick a spot such as the deep end steps, and label it once. When you take the after shot, your before photo stays faintly on screen so you can match it.
Green water turning blue over a few visits makes the case for a chemical treatment far better than any explanation, and it reassures an owner who is paying for several extra visits.
Readings, chemicals and repairs
JobProof has no special fields for water chemistry, so photograph the test kit against its chart and write the figures and anything you added in the job notes. That keeps the whole visit in one place for the office to look back on.
Equipment faults are easier to sell with a photo. A cracked skimmer lid, a weeping pump seal or a gauge reading well above normal is clear in a close-up, and the owner can approve the repair without you waiting on site.
Running routes with a team
Create a job for each pool with a location pin and gate codes or access notes, and assign it to a technician. They get a phone alert, tap Go to site for directions, and can't complete the visit without an After photo. Your dashboard shows open, overdue and finished stops person by person. Starting a job records where the phone was at that moment, once; nobody is tracked between stops.
Questions
Can owners see every visit?
Each job has its own link. Send a link per visit, or use one job for a longer piece of work such as clearing a green pool.
Does it work in back gardens with poor signal?
Yes. Photos are kept on the phone and sent once you have signal again.
I run the route on my own. Is it still worth it?
Yes. Create a job for each pool, take the photos and send the link. Add people later if you take someone on.
